Giant Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

The other weekend Makenna came to me with her American Girl magazine wanting to do one of the activities.  Basically it involved producing your own cooking show.  I was hesitant because frankly I was tired (it's tax season so Saturdays are just a L O N G day as a single parent).  However, I agreed to do it with her as long as I got to pick the recipe!  I saw these on Annie's Eats - she makes everything look amazing.

The recipe made 12 cookies - we easily stretched it to 18 and they were still huge!  Next time I will just make five cookies and freeze the rest of the dough balls.  They are best right out of the oven with milk!
