Lent

My brother posted this article on his blog about the observance of Lent.  It's been a great resource for our family as we discuss the preparation of Easter.  I did not grow up observing the Lenten tradition.  To be honest I never understood it as anything more than a "Catholic thing".  In recent years, I have come to find much benefit in the tradition.  At it's core, Lent is about repentance ... and changing our attitudes, words and lifestyle.  What a wonderful contemplation for the 40 days leading up to the grace & mercy of the cross & resurrection.
