I was dreaming of a White Thanksgiving

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in Minnesota visiting with my brother's family.  Seven kids between 2 & 10 and four adults.. it was a blast!  Although it always makes me a little sad when we get all the cousins together, because it reminds me how much fun they have... and how far away we are from each other.

There is no easy, quick or cheap way to get from PA to MN.  However, we managed to skate through airport security in the "family fast pass" lane - almost as great as Disney.  Unfortunately, Ella coordinated her stomach flu with landing of the plane - you never realize how small those white bags are in the back of the seat til you need them.  Thankfully she recovered rather quickly and no one else got sick.

There was snow on the ground when we arrived and we got more on Thanksgiving Eve.  It was beautiful.  The kids went sledding on Thanksgiving.

We took the kids to Nickelodeon Universe, the amusement park inside the Mall of America.

Then we had a spa day for the girls and a Wii competition for the boys.

It was a fabulous week of memories!

How fun!! We love the Mall of America! John and I braved that crazy Sponge Bob ride. The kids' favorite was the Brain Surge.
There's nothing like fun times with cousins.
