It's Raining Cats and Dogs

Saturdays get long during tax season.  We recently deviated from our normal routine (public library, YMCA, & Chick-FilA) and ventured to the Valley Forge Convention Center for the Super Pet Expo.

oh my.

First of all, it was insanely crowded.  And I would guess that 75% of the people there brought their furry friends on leashes with them.  We witnessed all kinds of "accidents" which gave new meaning to "clean up in aisle 4"!

It was like a page out of Dr. Suess.  Tall dog, short dog. Fat dog, skinny dog.  Fluffy dog, bald dog, Yappy dog, ferocious dog. Slobber, droopy, pouty dog.

The kids had fun.  They watched a pot-belly pig paint pictures and pet a bearded dragon lizard!

The only challenge was finding a vendor that sold food... and not dog treats!
