School Has Finally Begun!

After a 3 week teacher strike, the kids finally started school. I have never seen kids so happy to get on a school bus! Here is Ella's summation of the first day of kindergarten:

Me: Ella, how was your day?


E: Great mommy, I loved it. I learned the "pledgance of legions" ... and I didn't even have to go to the principal!

Glad she has set such high standards for herself:)
